If you are thinking of buying a property within the York and surrounding area you may need to get a home buyers report. Here at GDC we can take the guesswork out of buying a property. We can inspect and survey all gas appliances and plumbing to ensure that the property you are looking at has no hidden problems. Our highly qualified engineers can do a full inspection of the property including all gas appliances, drains and heating systems so you can buy in confidence. GDC will supply you with an in-depth report detailing the condition and viability of all appliances and plumbing. 

If on the other hand you are looking to sell your property then it is a requirement of European law that you should have an EPC or Energy Performance Certificate in order to be able to sell your property. This document sets out the relative energy efficiency of a property and documents possible ways of increasing that efficiency. An EPC document is valid for 10 years. Here any GDC we can perform a full inspection of your property and provide an EPC to ensure that your house sale is fully compliant with European law.
